Through its Fall Festival and other annual public and private events, A maze'n Farmyard brightens the lives of families by providing entertainment rooted in life on the farm. A maze'n Farmyard belongs to a variety of local programs, including Eden Valley Citizens for Progress (EVC4P).
When the Initiative Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Minnesota, launched its Thriving Communities Initiative, the city of Eden Valley decided to create four focus groups that target the areas of marketing, the library, community facilities, and economic advancement. Together, these four areas make up EVC4P.
At monthly meetings, EVC4P welcomes volunteers to participate in strengthening the community. The program also hosts events such as Valley Daze to fund its efforts.
This year, Valley Daze will take place Saturday, June 23, regardless of the weather. The event will include a silent auction and booths from farmers, crafters, and many different area businesses.
